A New Blog For Teaching the Future…

This blog is an experiment, a work in progress, and a vision come true all in one. I am currently a 9th year teacher in a suburban Chicago school. I teach AP Economics and Honors Government and have loved it so far, but now it is time make my classroom better for my students, and so I am currently embarking on a new angle in my career and that is to explore the role of education in technology. Where will it take me I am not sure but I am excited to find out!
For now this site will deal with my struggles and triumphs in advancing education’s integration with technology, and how schools and classrooms using technology should be the rule, not the exception (hence the title!).
I hope to have links to other blogs of those who share my passions about everything from 1:1 education, to iPods and cell phones in the classroom.
Join me me if you will on this journey and we can learn together as we advance the use of technology in the classroom.
